One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
The novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, written by Ken Kesey, is narrated by the character "Chief Bromden," a character who suffers from dementia and hallucinations in an Oregon based psychiatric hospital, in which he has been living in for 10 years. The novel follows his interpretations of the hospital, and the patients in it, most prominently the character Randle McMurphy, who is emitted into the hospital and begins his own series of rebellions against the cruel and unjust Nurse Ratched, who ultimately controls the hospital and all of its patients.
